An Overview of Lifeover Ministries Programs

Assistance with Medical Expenses:

Lifeover Ministries provides financial assistance to Douglas County, Georgia families for out-of-pocket medical expenses, insurance deductibles, durable medical equipment and prescription medications for chronically ill children under age 18.

Assistance with needed repairs to a Primary Car or Family Home:

Lifeover Ministries provides financial assistance to Douglas County, Georgia families to assist with repairs to the primary car used for the parent or guardian to go to and from work. Lifeover Ministries will also provide financial assistance to help with necessary repairs to a home that is owned by the primary caregiver (ie. Parent or Guardian) of the eligible family. The home repairs must be necessary to protect the safety and welfare of a child living in the home.

Lifeover Ministries has partnered with several Businesses in the Douglas County Area, who are willing to make in kind donations as a reduced rate, for our families, who qualify for this program. Lifeover will provide a portion of the needed repair expense, as well assisting the parent/guardian with needed repairs.

Assistance for recreational activities for children:

Lifeover Ministries provides financial assistance/partial scholarships to Douglas County, Georgia families of children under 18 for community recreational activities, including Local park baseball, softball, basketball, football, cheerleading, Boyscouts and Girlscouts.

Financial assistance is based on the number of people in the family, as well as family income, and both the eligible families and Lifeover Ministries pay a portion of the entry fees directly to the Recreation Provider.
